Giving Tree Program

The Giving Tree Program is our association’s way to help St. Charles County foster families create a special Christmas for children who may never have had a Christmas.  There are several steps in the process.

The first step:  Our foster children and their foster parents fill out a list for Santa on The Giving Tree Form.  Our goal is to provide five gifts for each child.  We recommend five items in the $35 range with a limit of one gift card request per child.  If there is a special wish or dream we do our best to grant it.

The second step:  Our friends of the St. Charles Chapter of the MFCAA purchase items by taking tags off of Christmas Giving Trees placed in area businesses and return it to the place the tag was picked up.  The Girl Scouts are special partners and fulfill many Christmas dreams.

The third step is the best step.  Distribution of all the Christmas wishes will be on December 21, 2010 the place to be determined/announced.  If the children are moved, Santa's helpers make sure the gifts follow the children.
